Welcome to 2013 and a belated happy new year to you all.
We enter this year with quite a few shows on our events list already, seems that a lot of organisers are keen to put 2012 behind them and look forward to 2013.
The big news is that after having to cancel the Berkley Skirmish last year and the worries that it may not be on this year, I can confirm that it is still on our calendar, 10 out of 10 to the Plantagenet team (http://www.plantagenet-events.co.uk/index.php). Have you checked out the events page on our web site lately? I will be keeping this as up to date as I can so you all know where to find us and come along and join in with the fun. One thing to remember is that a lot of the shows we do are for charity and well worth your support.
As with last year, our first show of the season is the Glastonbury Medieval Pageant. This year Easter is at the end of March but the discovery of the frozen dogs water bowl one morning last year didn’t dampen our spirits one bit and I see no reason why we should worry this year.
I’m really excited for 2013, all considering last year was not the best shall we say. Some new member, some new kit and lots of good companionship is what I see in the cards……… Bring it on!
